Swati's Baby Shower!!!

Today we hosted a surprise baby shower in honor of Swati. Most of her freinds came before her -except Bharat's and Matta's. I was very happy that everything worked out perfect AND that she was actually surprised :).

Anyway, the shower and meeting all her friends was so much fun! Sara got to see her friends and have good time. They all were so cute playing together. While the kids played together, we all also played some fun games!!!!

 

 

Next Morning- Trip to George Town

Before checking out we took some pictures of all of us in the resort which came out pretty good - all credit to our friend Seema. Around 12 PM we headed to Germantown for lunch and then around 3 PM headed back to NJ.

Weekend in DC

We have been planning to go to Gaylord Resort from a long time- so this weekend we decided to take a mini-vacation with our friends - Matta's! We got on the road after breakfast so that Sara's nap would coincide with the ~4 hour drive to DC. We reached around 4 PM and checked in to the hotel. After few hours of fun talk with Seema and Ritesh we decided to go swimming. Sara was so excited to go swimming with her buds - Nikki and Kisna.

After getting dressed, we walked on the board walk and saw fireworks. All three kids were tired so we got them pizza for dinner. We went to Rosa Mexicano for dinner and enjoyed both great food and great company!!

Lil Kickers

Sara loves kicking the ball. So when we found this class, we thought it would be perfect! An added bonus- her buddies Arnav and Sana are in the class too. We missed her first two classes for some or other reason. On her third class, she was bit shy and choose not to participate in any of the class activities (bouncing the ball on your head; or cone-stacking) and instead preferred her own private one-on-one time with Coach Mommy on the swing/slide area of the park. That's cool girl- whatever, have fun!

It's a Beautiful Day

It was a beautiful day with temperatures reaching near 80 degrees. So, after reaching home Vishal took Sara & Rhea to ride her pink car. It was wonderful!!!

They both had so much fun - they were loving the ride. Both were laughing out loud and giggling while Vishal was taking their pictures.

Lake George with Whole Gang!!!

After a lot of wait, our group finally decided to go to Lake George for one night this summer. All - Chacha, Andy Chacha, Shipra Di parents and Sharad's family joined us. Though we missed Mahesh Chacha's family. I wish they could have joined us too. We reached there around 2 PM. Shipra Di & Chachi brought so much food- it was awesome (especially since I am always craving for food these days).

At around 4 PM, we went for boat rides/para-sailing activities. Everyone had soooo much fun! After a while Sara snoozed in the boat. We then went to the beach - where all kids had fun playing in sand & water!!! At around 9 PM, we stopped at "Ali Baba" restaurant - great Mediterranean food!! And of course, dinner ends with Ice-Cream...haha

Next morning, we all went for a great walk. After breakfast, we all checked out and then went for ' River Rafting' . Shipra Di parent, Sara & I ofcourse did not join the gang. We went to Mt.Prospect - which was very beautiful!!

PYO

Vishal tooka day off and after breakfast took Sara to a local orchard to PYO (pick your own) fruit. They picked Blueberries & Rasberries. Sara picking blueberries/rasberries was very funny as Vishal told me - She pretty much just cleaned off the area of a bush she could reach. She didn't discriminate...all blueberries within reach were picked and dropped in the bucket :)

Happy 4th of July

We went to a small town "French town" with our friends - Jain's this morning and our whole big group walked down to see the local farm market over the Delaware river. We've never been before there - what fun, and what candy!.

Then we drove to the 'Sand Castle Winery' where Bharat, Vishal, Binny and their cousin did wine tasting tour. I, in the mean time talked to the manager about organizing Sara's 4th Birthday party. The vineyard was very beautiful and it allowed the kids to play outside in the picnic area. After that we drove to New Hope, PA - another beautiful drive where we all had ice-cream - what fun!!!

Later that night, we went back to Bharat's house to watch town's fireworks display. No pictures of the fireworks but it was great fun!!!!

A Short Visit to Cape Cod

We got on the road after breakfast hoping that we will not hit the long weekend traffic...but we were wrong. It took us almost 6-7 hours instead of normal 4 hours. I was tired by the time we reached Cape Cod. We checked in to the hotel and decided to just relax instead of going out.

This morning we decided to check out a day earlier again to avoid the Monday traffic. We then went to the Cape Cod downtown. It was Awesome! When we got there, we went straight to the boarding zone for our bus ride/tour ride. The ride was good and gave an overview of the Island.

We stayed until later afternoon...We stopped at the ice cream store. Somebody enjoyed it a little too much (as in temper tantrum "I want more" too much) :)

Not sure she really knew what she was doing, but I still thought it was sweet!
