Memorial Day Weekend Fun

We spent the weekend in Mystic, CT with the Gupta's. Hannu and Sara were in our car together for some time. I cannot describe their conversations and fun!

They made a piece of Hannu's car seat a baby.

Sara - Baby is not wearing a panty.

Hannu - Usko jhapad (slap) laga.

They are now pretending to be Dora and Diego.

Hannu - Animal in trouble. Wait I open my Rescue pack.

Sara - Hurry, we need to save the animal.

Hannu - Thanks for helping - you are my friend!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! We are in LA with my parents....Mother's Day can't be better than this ...three generation together. Sara's gave me the gifts before we left for LA,...her handmade gift melted my heart. Love, love, love it! After the sightseeing tour, we were waiting for Vishal and Ashu to get the car from the parking lot. Sara started singing 'Happy Mother's Day'...Oh, I want to squeeeeeeeze her! Of course, I took a million pictures and a video of the cuteness.

"I wanna be a Princess, Nanu!"

While walking near the pool-side, Papa asked Sara "Sara, bade hoke kya banegi - Doctor, Cop, Teacher or Banker like daddy?". The funniest response I ever heard "I wanna be a Princess, Nanu!!"

Day One Fun

We've only been at the resort for couple of hours and Sara's having a blast! Squeals and giggles echoed throughout the pool area as Vishal had Sara enjoying her favorite sport - swimming. We had some drinks on the pool-side in the evening. Then while we all lounged around, Vishal & Sara played in the water. "You forgot my life-Jacket mommy!" is all what Sara was complaining about. "Now, I cannot swim myself...".

Headed to LA!!

We're packed and ready for the flight to LA! Ma-Papa are also joining us from India and we'll be meeting with them on the LA airport. Sara was as usual a happy rider though we had to get a little creative with her. She had toys  books and her favorite snacks too. She was mesmerized...and quiet- whoohoo!

And after long 5.5 hours flight we get to see ma-papa & ashu! What fun!

Haircut & then Pizza Party

After Sara's haircut today, we had an impromptu pizza party at Bensi - just the two of us...a great date..though we missed Vishal!  I didn't take any really good picts...we were having too much fun!

Happy 3rd Birthday Sanaah!

Sara and I celebrated Sanaah's 3rd birthday at her house this evening. I didn't take any pictures for two reasons..I forgot to take the camera (again) and was keeping track of my little peep. Of course Sara had fun playing and jumping in the bouncy..um, SO fun! We then played bingo...and she loved it - Game On! whoohoo!. Happy Birthday Sanaah!

"I wanna marry you, Mommy!"

We were watching Lovo's wedding pics and I told Sara that you get married when you love someone. She said she wanted to be married. I asked who she wanted to marry and she replied, "Mommy." :)

Apparently the subject was still on Sara's brain this morning. During our snuggle time, she turned to me and said, "Mommy, I wanna marry you because...I LOVE you Mommy!"

Well that settles it then...we're married b/c you love me. :)

Way back

On the way back, we were having great conversation with Sara. Vishal was asking some questions and Sara was readily answering.

Vishal: Name five fruits you like.
Sara: Apple, Orange, Rasberry And Pear And Strawberry!

Vishal: Name three clothings you like to wear.
Sara: I like dresses - Pink dress, Yello ress & Green dress...i don't like jeans ...

We both laughed so much....:)
