A brisk walk

I think it's is around 60's today! When I got Sara dressed with her lighter jacket, I thought how cute!  This is picture before we left (without the Jacket :p) , we all had a good time taking a nice walk :)

"Let's Go To The Mall!"

In need of replacing my iPhone, we headed to the mall this afternoon. As Sara was feeling much better, we were quite relaxed and enjoyed her running/playing in the mall. She requested again that we take her pictures in front of the Apple store since they had beautiful window displays.

She was thrilled with the all-access pass I gave her to play with the computers at Apple store. (I am always saying, "Please stop;please stop touching my laptop; no, the laptop is not for carrying around- go find a real toy to play with." at home.) 

Home Bound

A few weeks ago, Vishal decided that our family needed a little family getaway. Our last two vacations were cancelled because of some or the other reasons. Vishal's request was "some place where Sara can swim." I was more inclined towards "some place within 2 hours of driving." We found this nice hotel in upstate New York. However, on Saturday morning we felt Sara was not feeling great so we cancelled this getaway also.

On Saturday, after watching 3 movies in the afternoon we went to 'Mehndi' for dinner. Sara was pretty much the whole time on my lap.

Literal Lols

Overheard while Sara and Vishal we were getting ready to run some errands:

Vishal: "Sara, chalo humhe Ikea jaana hai."
Sara "559 mein jaana hai, woh Monica & Aaayi ka hai"
Daddy: "Nahi humhe Ikea jaana hai, so get ready in 2 mins" (totally different direction than Sara meant)
Sara: "Aayi ke yaha (Ikea) to paas mein hai" hahahaha!

Valentine Tradition

The tradition of going to the same restaurant was revisited this Valentine's Day.We returned to the same restaurant 'Kitchen Masala' to celebrate Valentine's Day with friends & family.  

I didn't take all the pictures I intended to. I have no picture of all of us together like last year's dinner. We did have a really enjoyable dinner...because we ate while the kids were enjoying with each other- ha! It was peaceful and leisurely and Yummy!

Our Valentine's Weekend

Even though it's not my favorite holiday...it is a fun day full of excitement and sugar! :-) Vishal as usual on Friday evening brought beautiful flowers for me and surprised me with a beautiful present. I absolutely loved it :) It was the PERFECT valentine's day gift!

The whole weekend, he did good - it was so special to feel so loved and appreciated!! In the evening we went to chachi's house for Valentine's party - a crazy party filled with fun, dance, music and great food.

Goggles

I don't know what it is about these old goggles that I have probably tried throwing 3-4 times...but they are very appealing to Sara! She got hold of them this morning while we were running some errands and although I couldn't get a good picture, she was having a blast! Who knew they'd be so much fun?!

In Charge

This was just overheard while Sara was playing with her dolls. Doll said, "Who's in charge here?" and without a moment's hesitation, Sara responded, "Mommy's in charge!"

That's right girl, that's right!

Superbowl Sunday

We aren't dedicated fans of the Packers or the Steelers, so we went to chachi's house for pooja (they opened a new office) and the game. Sara had so much fun and waited to get prasad (raisins are her fav these days). I didn't take any pictures while we were there...obut our little miss was very much trying to be like her Mansi mausi.

Another Genetic Indicator!

Another genetic indicator that Sara is like Vishal - they both can eat sweets like there's no tomorrow. Sara will always say after eating any mithai "Daddy, this one - my favorite".
