Happy Halloween! Sara's school organized their annual Halloween Parade today! Sara's class went outside to participate in the parade into the playground area. Sara seemed kind of lost and as soon as Sara saw me, she started to break free from the line. Here's some photos before and during the parade! She's the peacock in the green jumpsuit.

California Pizza Kitchen
Totally awesome that we can have dinner at CPK without any reservation and no wait on a Saturday. This is the first time Sara tried pita bread with Hummus. She kept saying it "hooomus" lol :)
She read the menu, colored, and ate her favourite cheese pizza. She was so well behaved that we even got to have real conversation :) What a great experience - yay!

Arnav's 5th Birthday Party
We went to "Jump On It" to celebrate Arnav's 5th birthday today. Sara was a little scared at first to go on slides/moon bounce at first; but she got in the mood watching Hannu. Me & Vishal got to see our friends. So we all had a good time!

Colouring, Colouring and More Colouring
We cannot get enough of colouring in our household these days. Sara LOVES to sit and colour on a blank piece of paper...she often writes V, H . Sometimes she draws happy faces and has very quickly gotten pretty good. Here are some pictures of her latest creations:

Reunited with Mansi Masi
We went to chacha's place this Saturday. Sara & her favourite Mansi mausi were reunited. Sara had a great time playing with Mansi and copying her actions.

Cheeese Pizza!
Like most kids, Sara Loves pizza. She was quite pleased at dinner tonight, where she ate an entire slice. She just kept smiling...her cheesy smile. She just kept doing the cheesy smile and it makes me laugh looking at them. So cute, so happy, so cheesy! :p

Playing Play-Doh
We opened the "Giant Fun Box" that Milan gave Sara for her birthday last week. We did bust out the play-doh and Sara had a ball...she can make burgers, tomatoes, lettuce, buns, and all the other fun cut-out and/or press pieces that were included! She was thrilled that we were letting her use a knife. :p What an awesome inside activity...kept her occupied and happy for at least an hour. whoohoo!!
Last weekend, even Hannu joined her for some fun!!!

My Best Pal!
I had to go to the grocery store this evening. Sara was having fun playing in the basement with Baa. I decided to ask Sara along, "I'm going to the grocery store. Appko aana hai?" "Mujhe bhi Chalna hai!" she shouts. She's so fun to have around sometimes! :) I love that she's unlike me and can get excited about little things. I love that she wants to hang out and run errands with me (okay, so she doesn't know they are errands...but I still love that she wants to go with me)!
We only needed a few things so she drove her little cart and was super pleased about that. All these times we've been enjoying the muffins. She noticed today the 'Dragon cookies' and asked if she could have one. Sure.
I thought she'd eat it in the car. But she led me to the little coffee cafe area of the store and said, "Baitho, app bhi baitho mummy..(Sit with me)" What a fun little date it was- complete with a grateful child and great conversation...okay it was a little repetitive, but still, I Love this girl...she makes my heart swell and my whole self laugh.

Happy 1st Birthday Asmi!
This Saturday we went to cutie-pie Asmi's birthday party. I had intended to take more pictures at the party, but didn't. We had a great time - Sara immediately went towards her Mansi mausi, Aashi & Sachi and started having fun with them. The kids played and danced a lot. The amount of fun Sara had was measured by the amount of sleep she had that night ...suffice to say, she had a LOT of fun! :p

iInfant To iToddler
Seriously?!?! Sara's best toy is our iPhone. Since she is 1.5 years old, she has been playing with different aspects of the phone. Now, she can use mostly all the features except email (and thank god for that...she has sent email to my colleagues when she was 2). Gotta love how tots and tech go hand-in-hand these days.

Diamond Teeth
Sara had her first visit to the dentist. It was just an introductory visit. She was sooooo good and cooperative with the dentist.....she let him count her teeth, selected the items for her goody bag and finally picked a toy from the treasure box. The dentist told her "you have teeth's like diamonds.". Since then she is saying to us "look my diamond teeth".

Little Picasso
Our Little Picasso session started today. Sara Loves coloring and doing art stuff. So when we found this class at YMCA, we thought it would be perfect!. She loved it.
Last week, the kids used dinosaur stickers and used green paper to indicate grass & trees. Few pics of last week:
In today's class, the theme was Halloween...she colored the pumpkins and then trace small cups/plates and her hands to make a pumpkin field on a brown paper!
