OMG she started crawling! She had been working on it for about a month. She is all over the place now! I must say now the floors at Garg Castle are staying much cleaner! She seems much happier now that she can move to where she wants to be!

1st India Trip
After a long wait, I finally took Sara to India. She and I absolutely loved our month stay at my parents. She was pampered like anything by all her mausis, mama and of course nana-nani.
My mother mentioned me zillion times not to give her pacifier, but these things are like baby crack! They are Awesome! They are the latest addition to our soothing tricks. Other tricks include the Swaddle Me blanket, holding Sara high on your shoulder, doing laps around the house while chugging like a choo-choo train, singing, and a combination of all these things. Man, being a parent is fun! It's too bad babies don't remember these moments...I imagine they are even more fun for them!

Too Cute!
I thought this outfit was adorable so I had to take a picture of it. But even cuter was Sara laughing this morning as I tried to take her picture!

Happy 7 Months!
Sara is already 7 months old. It completely blows my mind that she was born 7 months ago!!
Here is a little list of the things our growing girl is up to...
- She is a great night sleeper and getting much more consistent with her naps.
- She is a lazy eater! She is eating only 1.5 "solid" meals a day and nursing 3 times. Her favorite foods have been anything with sweet potatoes in it and any kind of fruit...especially bananas.
- We have started to give her a sippy cup with water in it to practice with. At first she was pretty confused with what to do with it..but later got it.
- She's in one of the best stages right now...she sits independently but doesn't quite move yet. We can tell she's on the verge of crawling.
- Sara loves the water! Love getting massage done...
- She chews on everything in sight and gets pretty upset when something won't fit in her mouth! She doesn't have any teeth yet, but with the amount of chewing you would think they would be coming.

Triple Play
One positive thing that's come out of these past few weeks in India is the reinforcement of the solid bond that exists among my mom, my sister, and me. The realization of how much love we share and how important we all are to each other is truly uplifting. In addition to the valuable quality time we've enjoyed, Sara has had the benefit of the tri-fecta and has been loved on and taken care of by all three of us.

Lovy mausi is the fun one who amuses Sara by rocking, dancing, talking, and laughing with (or at) her.
