Happy Independence Day!

We all with Vishal parents went to New York City to watch the 'India Day Parade'. Sara was so excited and elated to see fun stuff with her grandparents. What a treat! She had fun, but then she was tired and just wanted her bed. Happy Birthday India!

Natural History Museum

After a crazy late start and brunch, we all went to the 'Natural History Museum' on Saturday. It was SO COOL!

We watched the famous dinosaur exhibit, mammals exhibit. Rose Center for Earth & Space. How fun!

We had so much fun with all our freinds and family. Kids had Pony ride, Tracter ride, fed animals, hay-ride and went peach picking ! SO SO SO fun!

We all had a Blast! Sara would pick a peach, take a bite, and then put it in the bucket. She just kept repeating that and it was cracking us all up. It's quite possible that she ate her weight in peaches today!

Happy, Happy Birthday to my Beautiful Sara. You are wonderful and perfect and bring so much joy to our lives every single day. You are a gift from God. I want to squeeze you and mooch you every moment of every day, because I love you that much. You are so smart, so funny, and so full of life. You are my reason. You have taught me so much about seeing the world in so many colors. I love pretending with you, playing with you, dancing with you, singing with you, marching with you, and just being around you. You brighten my life more then you will ever, ever know. I have had the best 3 years of my life raising you... I soak up every day and I look forward to watching you become even more amazing then you already are!

All's Fair

We went to the 'State Fair Meadowlands' at Giants Stadium Fairgrounds today. It was all the fun that county fairs promise to be!

Sara enjoyed so many ride. On some, she wanted me to go with her. I was a little bit too tall (and in "the red"). For her final ride, Sara went solo in the bikes. She seemed worried at first that I wasn't going and needed to have me buckle her seat belt, but was ALL smiles once she got moving!

Down on the Farm

Last Saturday we went to a local farm with Vishal parents...Alstede Farm. We had a great time peach picking and hay riding. Sara had loads of fun; she pretty much just cleaned off the area of a tree she could reach. She didn't discriminate...all peaches within reach were picked and dropped in the bucket. We came home with 1/2 peck of peaches!

 

Then to top it off, Sara get to do a PONY ride. We all liked the farm so much that we now plan to have Sara's 3rd birthday party here!

ROTFL

We all find Sara amusing. Last night Sara said "Nanu to nakrewala hai, pata nahi kya kya karta rehta". When she waits for Daddy she'll call him up using my iPhone and will asks "Daddy kaha reh gaya. Mujhe park jaana hai."

Sara will come with me to the train station to pick Daddy. Then we got to drive slow and watch the "choo choo" "Train gayi sone, daddy ko chod ke" "Bye Bye Train" It is totally awesome!

Heroine Like Mummy!

Sara these days are tooooo possessive about her sunglasses. Sara was going for a walk with Baa when she realized she was leaving without her sunglasses. Sara shouts, "Baa! Mujhe bhi mummy ki tarah heroine ban naa hai"  and goes running to her with her sunglasses in hand. ROTFL!

Amma & Baba Visit!

It's been a fun and busy week in our house! Sara's grandparents came to visit from India and have been spoiling Sara. They also got her first car for her birthday!

Sara is so much enjoying their visit...her grandmother will play with her, she will fed her food, they will take Sara on long evening strolls....

Fun in the Sun!

Today we went to 'Sandy Hook' beach with our family - Chacha, Andy Chacha and Mahesh Chacha.  Sara loved playing in the sand with Mansi mausi, Aashi di, Shreya di and their toys. She was scared to go in the water so stayed away from the shore! Sara was quick enough to take Aashi's chair and pretend its hers.

Shipra di & chachi came prepared with loads of yummy food. We enjoyed and stayed on the beach for more than 4 hours.  Sara is so fond of Hannu she kept asking "hannu aayega?".
