On the July 4th weekend we went on vacation to Ocean City, Maryland. The beach was way too paced....sara enjoyed the water, sand, watched kites (she was amazed to see the dragon kite).

Happy 32nd Birthday Daddy!
Chacha & Mahesh chacha came to celebrate Vishal's 32nd birthday! It was a great birthday...vishal got to spend time with his friends & family ....can it get any better than that?!
This year my "big SURPRISE gift" to Vishal was his first flying lesson. It was an experience and he enjoyed it!!! Love you baby!

Sara on her bike :-)
Sara loves riding her bike. All of a sudden last evening she started pedaling his training wheeled-bike. For a while we've had to push her on it, but something clicked in last evening and her feet started moving. So that's how she got to Target today.

Praying to God
This morning Sara was praying in the temple (the one in our Kitchen). She was folding hands and saying "Bhagwanji, mujhe achi ladki banana." :)
lol! (I had the benefit of context from Baa. From last few days Baa has been teaching her how God give us what we wish.)

A Sea of Plastic
Wow. No one ever told me having a kid meant that I'd be overcome by large plastic objects. It seems that suddenly we've acquired a selection of bulky plastic toys and I feel like they are taking over my living room/patio/garage/life. At least they make Sara smile :)

Nap Time
This afternoon Sara put all her stuffed animals in the tent we got for her (that is currently in our family/living room) and then asked for a blanket. It was close to nap time and I reminded her of that. She looked adorable and had a nice 2 hour+ nap in her tent - with all her toys.
Daddy! Daddy!"
In the evenings, Sara always stand near the window and says, "Daddy! Daddy!" Daddy's daily homecoming is a celebrated event. Sara is always very excited to see her Daddy come home.
