Everyday Sara do things that amaze us and are worth celebrating. We are so thankful to have her in our lives and cherish the time we have with her. She grow and change daily, we continually are blown away with what she know and can do. She is so much fun to be around - she is so imaginative, caring, nurturing, a risk taker yet cautious, she can count to 20, knows and recognizes all the letters of the alphabet, is beginning to color, loves to create, dance and draw....I can go on and on. She says the funniest things for a 2 year old and melt my heart with her "I luv you mumma".

A New Kitchen
We bought Sara a new kitchen and it's definitely one of her favorite new toys. We made a wise decision and ended up assembling the huge toy in our living room and it's staying right there for now. Given it's the most played with toy right now, it didn't make sense to hide it in the basement. We love watching as she cooks up allu sabzi, chila and French Fries all in one pot! Her imagination is really at work lately!

Sara's 2nd Birthday Party
Sara turned two today and we can't believe it. She is a pure joy to have around and we adore her. She LOVES to read books, to "color paper", to play with mom and dad, to DANCE DANCE DANCE, she likes swimming, likes to play with her friends, and is doing great learning how to use the potty.
In two years, she has taught me patience, how to LAUGH, how to be an example to an impressionable girl,
how to enjoy making a mess!
We love her in all of her two year old glory.

Hot Air Balloon Festival
We went to NJ Hot Air Balloon festival - had a big play date filled with fun. The Jains (Bharat Jain and family) met us there. So many balloons launced....Sara had so much fun watching them.
We hopped on the "ride to festival" bus...b/c parking was quite far from the field and also b/c Sara requested to enjoy the bus ride :p. She also really liked the bunny hat. Vishal got some good shots of her little bunny:

Sweetness
Sara just makes my day everyday. She is so sweet these days, I just wish I could bottle it up and keep some of that sweetness forever. I'm really cherishing it as the terrible-two's are just around the corner. Today morning was especially sweet as Sara was super excited to kiss me on the nose, giggling hysterically with each little kiss. I am in love.

Sara is almost two....
...and I want to capture her world, the beautiful smile and captivating way she enjoys the simple things in life: the park, the backyard, the car, the lipstick she slipped out of my purse.
Sara's a pretty typical 2 year old. She amazes us with the things she knows, makes us laugh hysterically, and can also make us completely crazy! :) Physically she's in constant motion- running, climbing, walking up and down the stairs, tiptoe-ing around, dancing, playing modified versions of just about every sport. She loves to explore and play with us. She's also gotten much better at independent play, which is fantastic! Usually this independent time is spent cooking in her kitchen "cooking allu sabzi" as she says, or "driving her train," or reading and chatting with her baby dolls.
She gives the biggest hugs, the cheesiest smiles, and throws the loudest, most spectacular tantrums! :p She does get easily upset and impatient...and totally annoyed when she doesn't get her way. She's my sweet little girl...but can flip in an INSTANT and become the crazed toddler exerting herself with the forceful use of "NO!" accompanied by jumping, crying, kicking, or pushing...which is then accompanied by time outs and disciplinary chats...which is followed by hugging, apologizing.
Her hindi language is remarkable! She speaks in phrases and in sentences- which is pretty awesome for her age. Many strangers we meet tell us the same thing after they ask how old she is.:)
