I thought this outfit was adorable so I had to take a picture of it. But even cuter was Sara laughing this morning as I tried to take her picture!

Happy 7 Months!
Sara is already 7 months old. It completely blows my mind that she was born 7 months ago!!
Here is a little list of the things our growing girl is up to...
- She is a great night sleeper and getting much more consistent with her naps.
- She is a lazy eater! She is eating only 1.5 "solid" meals a day and nursing 3 times. Her favorite foods have been anything with sweet potatoes in it and any kind of fruit...especially bananas.
- We have started to give her a sippy cup with water in it to practice with. At first she was pretty confused with what to do with it..but later got it.
- She's in one of the best stages right now...she sits independently but doesn't quite move yet. We can tell she's on the verge of crawling.
- Sara loves the water! Love getting massage done...
- She chews on everything in sight and gets pretty upset when something won't fit in her mouth! She doesn't have any teeth yet, but with the amount of chewing you would think they would be coming.

Triple Play
One positive thing that's come out of these past few weeks in India is the reinforcement of the solid bond that exists among my mom, my sister, and me. The realization of how much love we share and how important we all are to each other is truly uplifting. In addition to the valuable quality time we've enjoyed, Sara has had the benefit of the tri-fecta and has been loved on and taken care of by all three of us.
It was a pleasant treat for me to get a little break. Ma and lovy mausi took many of the late night feedings so that I could get some more sleep. They also sacrificed their own mealtimes so that I could take my time eating food that was hot. :) Speaking of eating, every day we had three delicious nutritious meals and multiple (maybe not so nutritious, but so yummy!) snacks and treats...all made by Ma.Lovy mausi is the fun one who amuses Sara by rocking, dancing, talking, and laughing with (or at) her.

Teddy Bear Teddy Bear Turn Around
Teddy Bear Teddy Bear Touch the Ground
I've been singing this song to Sara today because I put this adorable snowsuit thing on her this morning. Animal ears on kids are just too fun!

Does she do coding?
My little FavDay helper allowed me to get a lot done today. Sara discovered the laptop and it was love at first sight. This thing occupied her and kept her happy like nothing I have ever seen! It was Great! I did the laundry, changed the bed sheets, dusted, and cleaned the bedroom...all before Sara's afternoon nap, while she was still awake! (I normally rush around doing my household tasks while she is napping.)

Fun Friday!
We had a super fun time at our friends place. When we arrive (late, of course!) we are greeted by the happy faces of Kisna and Nikki. It is so cute to see little people get excited about a baby.
After a while, it was time for Sara's sleep. While I was having a great cup of tea after dinner, Sara stayed in my lap and watched Kisna.....i love this kiddo!!!

Five months ago we were wondering who this little girl was going to be! My days were filled with feeding and pumping and changing diapers, going to the doctor every other week or so, trying to find time to spend with Vishal!
For the most part all of those tiring things have become easier! With time, everything gets easier. I think 5 months is the magic mark! I physically feel close to prepregnancy and I am actually getting some decent rest! Sara sleeps almost through the night (hopefully I'm not jinxing myself).
Sara is beginning to show us who she is going to be! She is a very loud little baby. She makes sure that you know where she is at all times! Just this week I have started to put my finger over my lips and "shhhh" her. She just laughs at me! She also must be entertained at all times. Developmentally she is sitting up for up to 5 minutes or so at a time, and getting up on all fours.....wanting so badly to crawl, just not quite there yet. Too cute.

Happy New Year
Sara was the only one partying in the new year. Already the kid is cooler than her parents! ;) But hey, we take sleep when we can get it. Happy 2008!
