First Diwali Celebration

Today we celebrated Diwali with all our family & friends at our home. Since I had Sara all my friends decided to help us with the food.   Delicious food and drink and partying with all our friends until 1 AM made for one sleepy family. We all slept in until 10:20 the next morning!!!! Unheard of...but totally awesome!

Chachi gave some nice dresses for Sara that she was looking darn cute :) Some pics from the Diwali celebration:

Swinging Away!

3 months old!

Sara is three months old today! We can not believe how fast these 3 months have flown by! Lil Sara is the light of our lives and we don't know how we ever got by without her! And she just keeps getting cuter by the second doesn't she?!?!

The End of the World As she Knows It...

Who can believe that 8 weeks have already passed since Sara was born? I have to go back to work now. No one is happy about this (except my co-workers...). Sara and I have never been apart for more than a few hours so this is going to be a major change for both of us. Thankfully she is being watched by her grandparents, so at least we know she is in good and loving hands. "It's the end of the world as we know it..."

First Outing without Daddy

Today was a BIG day!!! Following prompting from my colleagues, Sara and I went out for the first time without Daddy to my office. Man! You'd think we were going away for a week! I was all sorts of paranoid about forgetting something. Vishal was patient and calm and helped me pack the diaper bag and put Sara in her car seat. The trip to NYC is about 12 miles (lol!). But for all of those miles, every muscle in my body was tensed up. Sara squeaked a few times, but all was well. It was SUCH a FUN day!!

Two Months old!

Sara is a tall girl .... about 25 inches tall but not that great a eater (12.5 lbs). Our sweet Sara continues to do just great! She's even more fun these days- with all her smiles.

Apple Picking

We went apple picking today with friends - The Matta's, The Jain's (Bharat-Vinita with kids & parents), Shuchi-Siddharth.! SO SO SO fun! Obviously Sara didn't participate (she was passed back and forth between Grandma, Daddy and me)!!

One Month Old!

I really cannot believe it's been a month since she was born! I have felt tired, but not in a bad way. Sure, I've had my moments but honestly this past month has flown by and it has really been wonderful. I'm told it only gets better. *sigh*.

Weight: 9 lbs. 8 oz.
Height: 22.5 inches

The weigh-ins and height measurements are the highlight of her doctor's visits and really make them fun.

Havan Pooja

We had a havan pooja when Sara turned a month at our place. Our family & friends joined us to bless the little girl!

(The panditji was quite a funny to keep everyone engaged in the pooja.)

Bath Time

Sara seems to enjoy her bath time. I just don't take enough pictures at bath time. I love seeing Sara's little baby rolls and feeling her super soft baby skin!
