First Pediatrician Visit

Sara had her first visit to the pediatrician today. She was a very good girl while we were there. She only got mad when we had to strip her down to her diaper and do the measurements. Other than that, she was a happy camper.

Vishal went back to work today. He said he missed her little girl tons, and is now sitting very contently with the little girl sleeping on his chest.

One Week Old

Little Sara is one week old today. Wow! Time flies. Vishal was very patient with me; as were his parents. They allowed the three of us to be holed up in our bedroom to have quality family time.  I truly love being a mom and love my little family more than words can describe.

6th Day Pooja

Since Vishal parents were here to help us, ma did some pooja when Sara turned 6 days. She made some halva which i loved....especially because i was not looking at the calorie count :)

First Bath

Sara had her first sponge bath today. She did Great! It was not nearly as bad as we were anticipating. She actually seemed to enjoy it but I forgot to take any pictures.

Welcome Home Sara!

After a long 2 days in the hospital, I was discharged from the hospital and we were ready to take our baby home. Grandma helped us unpack and organize all Sara's essentials.

6:49 PM - Happy Birthday Sara!!

3 hour and 25 minutes of concentration and pushing by me, counting and encouragement from Vishal and finally vaccum extractor and we welcomed our daughter, SARA GARG.

She weighed  pounds lbs, 8 oz and was 21.5 inches long. It was an amazing process and truly was love at first sight.

The Baby Shower!!!

My Chachi was gracious enough to host it at her home and she did a beautiful job. Thank you Chachi and everyone for your thoughtfulness and generosity.

Niagara Falls & 28 Weeks Prego

My family isvisiting us from India. I was soo much pampered; felt so good. We went to Niagara Falls/Corning Museum & Finger Lakes. Our trip was GREAT! I had a ton of fun just hanging out with my full family!

The Big Ultrasound

The big bonus of the big ultrasound is that they can usually tell you the baby's gender. I am SO excited!!! We prefer to know ahead of time. We've starting the name game conversation (and already have disagreement- ha ha!). Yup, it's a GIRL! At our appointment today, the ultrasound tech confirmed that all organs are functioning well and that we are expecting a little girl!
